Requesting Social Discount

At a number of locations on WeMeet.nl it is already possible to book with social discount, the percentage of this discount can be chosen by the landlord. Every landlord on WeMeet has the option to set social discount at their location. Don't have social discount yet, but would like to offer it? Then let us know: communicatie@wemeet.nl. The option for social discount is always visible on the website and any tenant, if they think they are entitled to it, can check it when booking.

How do you get social discounting?

As you can see above, this landlord has opted for a 70% discount. A landlord may decide how high the discount is. The landlord may also decide when a tenant may use this discount. Do you click on social discount? Then it says what conditions you must meet to be entitled to social discount. You can, if you think you meet the conditions, apply this option before you request your booking. A location can specify which conditions a tenant must meet in order to use this social discount. Please note: only use this social discount if you are entitled to it as a venue. WeMeet and the landlord themselves check the tenant who requests social discount. If you are not entitled to it, we will ask you to pay the full amount.

For example, at this location it says, "Are you from the catchment area of this location? Can you demonstrate that you cannot afford the regular rate and what you want fits within the social neighborhood function of this location? See the image below.
